Hello Family of God,
In our anti-christian age where the enemy seems to be winning on every front, it is good to see that Jesus is still seeking and saving the lost, and bringing repentant sinners into the kingdom of God. Then, in His grace and mercy using the redeemed to share their story, and the power of the gospel, so that others can experience salvation and freedom. Today, I would like you to watch one of the most powerful testimonies/speeches I have ever heard on the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ to transform so completely an individual, and then use that person to speak to one of the most pressing issues in our world and churches. This former lesbian professor, Dr. Rosaria Butterfield, was the invited guest speaker at Liberty Christian University's convocation ceremony just a few days ago. Dr. Rosaria lays out her story and truth so clearly - it is powerfully rooted in scripture and exposes the lies of our generation. She is bold to declare homosexuality a sin, that can be repented of, and Christ can deliver from. Her story is a testimony to the power of the Word of God, compassionate unwavering Christians who journey with someone into freedom, and the work of Holy Spirit to bring conviction of sin, faith and repentance. Here is a quote worth repeating: "the truth is homosexuality and transgenderism are found in the flesh, forbidden in the law, and overcome in the Savior"
I encourage you to read and meditate on Romans chapters 1-3. Note 1:18, "The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness" and 3:21-22 "But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it—the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe."
God's wrath and grace - revealed simultaneously - that is a picture of the cross! God's judgment is always preceded by His mercy. He offers mercy and repentance through Christ, and His wrath is reserved for those who reject His mercy.
